I was on a mission today to get things done. I had to run a million errands and be back in time for dinner. I even had to leave work early so I could get all this done. First I headed to the mall so I could get some lego star wars minifigures, which my girlfriend’s son really loves. He first got hooked on them when he saw a commercial for them, and ever since they’ve become his favorite toy. But he has ended up losing so many of them because he leaves them where he plays. He’s kind of forgetful but he’s a really sweet kid.

After the mall I headed downtown to pick up a bunch of party supplies for his birthday, which is tomorrow. We’re planning on having a big picnic at the park, which will start promptly at 10 a.m., so there’s no time to get this stuff done in the morning. After that I had to run into the bank to cash a check, and I almost didn’t make it. The bank was open till six so I was good, but the woman in front of me kept talking about her new nursery bedding, which was really annoying.
